Like most pet owners, Rachel has had pets for most of her life. Rachel has traveled
and had several singing stints abroad. She once lived in Sumatra Indonesia where
she rescued and took care of the most amazing animals. She was surrogate mother
to an orphaned baby orangutan and two long-tailed macaque monkeys that she
hand raised, an Australian horse name Macho, several dogs, aquarium and pond
fishes, exotic birds, pet mice, a rescued Sunda Pangolin who she fondly called
Walker and a beautiful male Sumatran tiger (who was in poor health) she helped
rescue from a small local zoo.
Rachel’s career path has transitioned from the music world to a proprietor of a
humble, licensed pet care business. She is a graduate of A Pet’s World Academy
where she was certified in Pet Care, Pet CPR and Animal First Aid. She is fully
trained in administering medication for dogs and cats. As a result, she is prepared
to deal with the basic emergencies that may occur to your fur babies. She is also a
certified pet stylist and specializes in little breed dogs.
It is not surprising that her choice has led her back from the music world to the
care, nurturing, and love of animals.
