Is your dog a high-maintenance diva, or a scruffy, low-maintenance tough guy?
Regardless of whether your buddy sports bows and braids, or burrs and a funky
odor, a few grooming practices are mandatory for the maintenance of a dog's
health and happiness. Our Private, In-Home, Little Dog Grooming provides
grooming services unlike any other. We do bathing and grooming hands on,
meaning, we bathe and fluff dry your dog by hand and never use cage dryers.
Most pets experience anxiety and stress from travel and noisy visits to a
grooming shop. For these reasons, an 'appointment' is scheduled at specific
times for that individualized pampering.
WE NEVER RUSH OUR WORK! We will NOT force a dog to the verge of stress
and trauma. There will be stretchy and bathroom breaks. We don't take short-
cuts with time or products. We use the latest grooming equipment and tools,
and high-end bath & finishing products. We offer a special 'First visit' for
puppies once their inoculations are effective. This involves an introduction to
bathing, drying, grooming ears and claw trimming, plus lots of praises to make
the experience a pleasant one! Special care is given to older or the wee dogs
(and their owners) with a nervous disposition.
Please remember that Groomers/Pet Stylists are NOT professional dog trainers
nor Veterinarians, therefore we have the right to refuse dogs who are unsafe to
groom, AND we don't diagnose or suggest oral medications, assuming it'll work
for your dog. We will only let you know if we suspect or notice any visible health
issues. However, on some basic, common and treatable situations, we apply
first aid for nicks, cuts, scrapes, or on hot spots. Taking your dog to the vet for
a thorough check up is your best bet!
PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT bring in a sick dog! Dogs with diarrhea,
vomiting, unhealed operations, open & bleeding sores, even those suffering
from painful joints, should be reported to the groomer while the appointment is
being made. Have your dog checked by a vet and medicated before coming to
us for grooming.
And lastly, we will truly appreciate your honesty about your pet's behavior while
being groomed. We reserve the right to deny service or to raise the price to
those who do not disclose the true condition of their dog’s coat or temperament.
We do not give quotes without seeing the dog. The actual price of the services
is dependent upon many factors. Anything that increases the difficulty of the
groom or the time required to complete the groom increases the start fee.
