UTILITY CLIP /

  • The Utility Clip (also called
    the kennel Clip) is a
    standard cut for dogs, like
    poodles, who are not
    appearing in shows. In the
    Utility Clip, the face, feet
    and base of tail are all
    shaved closely, but the rest
    of the dog's hair/coat is
    clipped with scissors at a
    fairly short length.

LAMB CLIP

  • 3 to 4 hours

  • The Lamb Clip is a
    variation of the Utility Clip.
    The hair on the legs is left
    fluffy. The overall length of
    hair is generally longer for
    the Lamb Clip than for the
    Utility Clip, but this is a
    matter of preference.

  • Pattern/cut that suits your
    dog's breed

  • This cut is commonly
    trimmed to match the
    breed standard such as
    long skirts or dog breeds
    with their distinctive full
    legs and long beards. It
    can also refer to any of the
    many poodle patterns
    available.

PUPPY Grooming
Bath/Brush and Tidy

  • For 2-4 month old FIRST
    TIMERS ONLY.

  • Two separate stress-free
    grooming sessions
    exclusively for puppies
    starting at 8 weeks to a
    maximum of 4 months in
    age. This is a special
    training session to
    introduce your new puppy
    to the grooming
    experience. Some puppies
    require only one session
    and some will need the
    benefits of our extended
    training package.  

  • This Basic package includes
    a gentle puppy shampoo,
    conditioning, brush/comb,
    blow dry, nail trimming
    /gentle filing, ear cleaning
    /plucking, and upon
    request, a bandana or bow
    with a scented mist.

We understand that every pet parent and their pet is unique, and so we will try our
utmost best to accommodate all your individual needs and wishes. However, when
'issues' are visible, with Vanity VS Health, we ALWAYS put the dog's welfare above all
else. To be bluntly honest, we would rather style. That's why we do not have the heart
to accept very matted dogs due to the painful nature of the dematting process.

All grooming fees listed below are start fees only and are subject to change/increase
due to coat condition (tangled and a few manageable matting), style of clip, and
demeanor.

PLEASE NOTE that *Extensive scissoring work, *Ear hair plucking, *tangled & matted
coat comb out & removal, and *extra dirty coat/hair that requires 2 baths, are NOT
included in the actual grooming fee and are considered additional fees due to added
time and work involved.

We only do a 'request only' for anal sac expression. It's best to take them to the vet,
who may do an internal expression and check for anal sac abscess or infection. It is
our right to refuse pets who are biters, sick (E.g. Diarrhea, injured, open and bleeding
sores) very matted, and infested with fleas. It is recommended that your pet be on an
all-year round flea and tick preventative. No exceptions! Dog clients are required to be
up to date on all shots.
